Hello! We are a licensed family childcare providers of Shiggy’s Playhouse where our children intentionally learn through play. We are committed to providing high quality care for the children in our community and plan to be a helpful resource to the surrounding working families. We are pleased to bring our expertise, enthusiasm and attentiveness to each child who we welcome into our care. About Ms. Cherrie
With over 8 years of childcare experience, I'm dedicated to nurturing and supporting young minds. As a mother of two boys, I understand the unique needs of growing children. I ran my own in-home daycare for 6 years and have over 4 years of experience in group childcare centers. In 2018, I earned an associate's degree in early childhood education and completed coursework to serve as a lead teacher and Director in group centers.
Children are my passion, and I thrive on understanding their diverse personalities and temperaments. I'm grateful of my recent experience running a summer care program in which broadened my skills, introducing me to working with older children. As the Program Director and Lead Teacher of Shiggy's Playhouse, I'm committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for children to thrive!
